Very beautiful garden. Although a bit sad, it's peaceful and quiet. The neighborhood used to be not the greatest but, it has come pretty far. So glad to see that even though you see some homeless people around, nobody seems to really mess with this place either. Maybe they feel the VEGAS STRONG spirit. The memorial sites for each one of the victims are very heartfelt. The community did great with getting together and creating this place.
It was a beautiful, clean, and emotional garden. It was an amazing tribute to all the fallen people on Oct. 1. The trees, stories, butterflies, and water feature. The rememberance wall and the angel wings are so majestic. A wonderful place to visit and never forget.
The Las Vegas Community Healing Garden in downtown Las Vegas came together in three days to honor those that were felled on October 1, 2017, by the sniper at the Route 91 Harvest music festival. The garden has a stunning Remembrance Wall together with 58 trees...each one honoring a life lost.
If you see the garden at first you may be unimpressed by its simplicity. But knowing it's history, it is a powerful sight that you need to experience.
5 x ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
A superbly put together memorial garden for the 58 victims of the October 2017 Route 91 Mass shooting. This healing garden remembers them and does them proud. A moving experience.
Beautiful and heartbreaking. We met 2 survivors of the mass shooting. They are the care takers of the garden.
Even as a Vegas local I did not know that this was here until was strolling in the area. So incredibly powerful and somber especially at night; very green and peaceful with the sounds of crickets. They do a fantastic job of upkeep and maintenance here.
There is a lot of free parking nearby, and felt safe in this area.
What a beautiful and peaceful place, I stumbled with this little park while looking at the street art around the area, the sound of the wind chimes called my attention and got me there, the tiles got me to walk in as I wasn't sure what the place was, as I walked around and saw the memories of those who lost their lives got to learned and remember the event, this is a beautiful place for the families, friends and strangers to pay honors to their memories, I love how people respect this area and what's there, definitely check it out
This must be one of the most beautiful places in Las Vegas. It's a memorial to commemorate the people who lost their lives on Oct 1st, 2017 - the deadliest mass shooting in recent US history. It's filled with notes, poems, photos, artwork, a Remembrance wall, and a tree for each of the initial 58 people who lost their lives. The park was built in 4 days by the local community. You're sure to shed a tear.
